Last weekend of October

There were two wonderful shoots yesterday with two great families!  The first was for a mother and her three children whose husband has been deployed since their youngest was 5 months old!  She wanted to get some pictures to be able to send to him as a surprise!  Below are some from that session at Eastwood MetroPark, which I had never shot at before, but I just love the different bridges that the park offers and all the great fall colors!

The second session was for our recent contest winner.  She hasn't had any family photos since her youngest was born and the oldest always hated getting her picture taken, so it was great that they all did an awesome job and we got some really cute pictures at Cox Arboretum.  Below are some from that session.

Next weekend, we have a Senior Portrait Session scheduled for 2 High School Seniors!  Then we will be in our studio for Christmas Mini-Sessions the rest of the weekend!!  Hurry and schedule yours!

Gorgeous Weekend

It was a great weekend.  We had the pleasure of taking photos for a beautiful little girl, who's now 1!  She did great.  Although, when we took her outside to get pictures in the leaves, she did freak out a little, but luckily it didn't last long and we were able to great some great shots of her out in the leaves as well as inside in our studio!
Below are some of our favorites...

Now we look forward to this coming weekend to get some pictures for 2 great families!
One is a surprise for their husband who is currently deployed!  I can't wait to help this Wife and Mother give her husband a wonderful surprise of pictures of her and their children!
The other family hasn't had family pictures in a really long time since one child is afraid of going to get pictures taken!  Hopefully we'll calm the nerves and get some awesome pictures for them!

Windy Saturday

This morning started off chilly and it's been windy all day, but that didn't stop us from getting out and having TWO great photo shoots!  First I headed to Carriage Hill to take some amazing pictures of a friend's two boys.  They started out cold, but half-way through we had a break through and the boys did great the rest of the shoot!  Below are some samples of the shots I was able to get.

I just love the pictures, they did such a great job even with it being chilly and windy out!

Later in the day, I made my way down to Cox Arboretum to take some pictures of another lovely family.  This session went amazingly too even with the wind and lots of people around!  Below are a few of my favorites from that session.

Love the surprised look on his face!

She was having so much fun playing with the flower!

After 2 great sessions today, I'm really looking forward to another great session tomorrow!  I get to capture an amazing part of a mother's life!  I hope tomorrow is as pretty as today for the Maternity Session!

Our weekend 10/7-10/9

This past weekend, we were lucky enough to have some of our oldest daughters friends over.  These girls had asked us to take pictures of them together, so we obliged!  Below are some of our personal favorites from the session with the girls!  They were all such great sports and loved getting their pictures taken (even while they waited for their turn).

All these pictures were taken out at Carriage Hill.  The girls had a blast and didn't complain at all that it took time to get all the great pictures, they didn't want to stop, but it was time for dinner, so we had to cut the session off!

Hopefully this coming weekend will be just as nice for the shoots we have scheduled!

Our first blog

We are still getting our business up and running, but we felt that we could give our customers an inside look at what we do.

First, this is a business that is run by Jen and Todd Taylor, we've been married for 4 1/2 years.  We both love taking pictures and capturing memories for our own family.  We hope to expand by word of mouth to get our business out there to capture more memories for others.

Recently we were able to get pictures for a friend of ours and her kids.  We went to Hills and Dales MetroPark and spent an hour capturing memories of her family.  We were able to get some great shots.
Below are 2 pictures from the session, one was taken at our inside studio and the other at the park!
We have a busy schedule next weekend, possibly 3 shoots in 1 day!  We have a morning shoot with two lovely boys at Carriage Hill and then in the evening with a family of 4, they have a boy and girl at Cox Arboretum!

Can't wait to capture memories for these families!
